I act more polite here because if I treat people professionally, then I expect to get the same in return
Plus the things I talk about on my personal blog are usually rants and stuff, and being nice doesn’t mean that I can’t get frustrated. I probably seem unable to get ridiculous/immature while on here but that’s because I choose not to take out my anger on a blog meant for art and giving friendly advice.
Almost every artist acts more professionally and compassionate/understanding when they are in an environment like so because websites like this, people are constantly giving first impressions every day because new people come on their blogs for the first time all the time!!!  It’s just balancing out and choosing what qualities one wants their audience to see. Kind of like meeting a stranger-you aren’t going to treat them like your best friend (I hope not)
It’s also called being aware of your surroundings. I have many people who look at my stuff and scroll through my blog and I am going to try my best to be aware of what might be offensive/triggering and cut that out of what I say within reason.
I’m not being fake or not being myself, I’m just cutting out the things that I wouldn’t want people I don’t know to see.

Like, all kinds of it
I love when people play with my characters. I never really built strong characters and I love leaving them open for interpretation from other artists. 
Fanart is such a nice thing to get and give because not only is it nice to look at, but the whole idea of it. Imagine if you got fanart! Someone sat down and decided you were worth hours to days of their time. Someone wanted to work their best to impress you and propose a friendship or show gratitude for you without using words and using their hand and imagination instead!!! It’s great, right??? 
Not only do you get a pretty picture of characters you created that others like, you get the knowledge that someone thought you were worth something and the biggest gift anyone could give is their time.

Exactly!! Art is my favorite gift to get also just because of the time and dedication. There is nothing I can be “fake” about!!
